In Afrikan society marriage is a custom that unites more than just two individuals but instead, two families. In fact, though not common, all Afrikan societies allowed polygyny, a man having more than one wife. More importantly, marriage establishes kinship, without which no reliable system for identifying lineages could exist. Marriage in establishing kinship is thusly concerned with procreation. And again polygyny was the most productive combination in regards to maximizing progeny. Hypothetically, one man with five wives can produce the same number of children as five monogamous men. Conversely, a woman practicing polyandry cannot increase the number of children fivefold in the same time frame. This demonstrates the male productive ability and procreative utility.
From an Afrikan centered vantage point, same-sex “marriage” is useless. It primarily purpose is in satisfying the romantic love of two individuals. It is a union between two men or two women that denies the self-evident biological, physiological, and even psychological relationship between a man, a woman, and the community. Rather than express the idea of harmony or reciprocity that is inherent in the Afrikan notion of twinness, it offers sameness. A Gay marriage is like trying to get electricity from joining two plugs or rubbing together two sockets. In the end it denies a primary purpose of marriage--the perpetuation of the community and life. Gay marriage can only exist in a society based on romantic individualism, but not in a society based on communalism. Marriage as a custom exists because it provides a stable, affectionate, and wholistic environment that is beneficial to the upbringing of children, which assists in perpetuating and strengthening the society as a whole.
It Violates Cultural Norms
To argue against Gay marriage has little to do with “nature” because nature does produce genetic mutants or deviants. Occasionally people are born blind, limbless, hermaphrodites, and with various chromosomal deficiencies. Also, animals in nature have exhibited same-sex behavior, so to argue it is against nature would be faulty. Being against Gay marriage is a cultural argument. It is the human being, a by-produce of culture that determines the norms, which are acceptable within society. In an Afrikan sense, although culture is a human design, it is also what creates human beings. In this sense culture embodies the collective wisdom of the ancestors, and it continues to rely on them, which is why ancestor veneration is universal in all Afrikan traditional cultures.
Culture distinguishes between what is natural and cultural. So for example, poison ivory, which is natural, is also harmful. This means that just because something is natural does not mean it is good for you. It is through culture, and the use that humans can make out of an entity, that determines its utility. Likewise, a culture determines not what is natural but what is normal based on cultural values. Hence, though homosexuality may be “natural”, it is not normal because it does not promote the perpetuation of culture. It serves no utility in culture.
It’s a Self-Perpetuating Political Animal
Human behavior is cultural—it is learned. And in a culture that supports same-sex “marriage” same-sex behavior is reinforced. As Western scientists have yet to identify a “gay gene,” the only way homosexuality can grow is through recruitment. Same-sex marriage is intrinsically sterile. If the “spouses” want a child, they must use costly and artificial means or employ surrogates. As a movement, they have taken advantage of the AIDS epidemic to gain sympathy and to organize politically using tactics and strategies employed by earlier civil rights groups. This too is a faulty argument for two reasons: first, sexual behavior and race are essentially different realities. A man and a woman wanting to marry may be different in race, class, politics, or religious but none of these violate procreative laws; second, socially defined categories and the inherited and unchangeable racial traits cannot be compared with non-genetic and changeable behavior. Complementary genders trump all odds.
Their latest argument is of course for marriage equality. What many unsuspecting gay sympathizers do not know is if there is marriage equality, then you are unwittingly arguing for equality of “heterosexuality” and “homosexuality.” This of course is an erroneous and unequal equation as the logical outcomes of both forms of existence are contradictory.
Homosexuality in fact needs heterosexuality to recruit new members. In this way, they are leeches or parasites. They are fully aware that if they had their own nation, without procreative sex, they would disappear as a group/movement. They understand that they were created by heterosexuality, and that without Western science now attempting to produce same-sex progeny, they are doomed to extinction without procreation—the gift of “heterosexism.” Yes, they have quite a conundrum; they are in some quagmire. Thus, they recruit through the media. And they more fiendishly recruit by implanting both mentally and sexually, the young. And gay marriages that contain children continue to gain recruits as early studies suggest that children raised in same-sex households are (more sexually promiscuous and) more likely to become homosexuals.
Their political organization is so tight, that today’s “tomboy” has less of a chance entering adulthood straight than a snowball in hell. She is marked and targeted by the Gay mafia as gay; she has little chance of growing into a heterosexual woman, who during her youth had some “masculine energy.” Moreover, once it flexes it legal muscle, the Gay mafia forces society to become its official and active promoter. The US is a case in point. Look at how the government now requires its public officials to officiate at the new civil ceremony, orders public schools to teach its acceptability to children, and punishes any federal, state or city employee who expresses disapproval.
The Gay rights movement, which I have described as more of a political movement than anything else, is apparently more than that. Gay activist Paul Varnell confirmed this when he wrote in the Chicago Free Press: "The gay movement, whether we acknowledge it or not, is not a civil rights movement, not even a sexual liberation movement, but a moral revolution aimed at changing people's view of homosexuality."
